#MUSICVIDEOS - Call for project by the Centre du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel - Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles

The project call is open to any director/artist, whether or not they have previously directed music videos, films, or other audiovisual content. The music video must be designed to accompany a clearly identified piece of music, which the musician or group has a topicality (e.g. album release) and is supported by a professional structure (label, booking agencies, manager, etc.). The clip can be in a wide variety of formats: live-action, animation, documentary, fictional or experimental, or even multidisciplinary. The project must be designed to circulate on dedicated platforms for clip format (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) but also to be teased via social networks- in the broadest sense. The aid, of a maximum amount of 20,000 euros, must be spent for the benefit of individuals or legal entities resident in Belgium for tax purposes.

The form has to be submitted in French but the music video can be of any language.

#TVSERIES: Torino Film Lab - Series Lab 2021

SeriesLab focuses on fiction TV series projects at an early development stage and is addressed to professional European* scriptwriters, directors and producers. The programme is structured around two residential workshops in June and November 2021 and one online workshop in September 2021. The aim is to draft the treatment of the pilot and the concept presentation (mini-bible) by the end of the programme.
 SeriesLab concludes with the presentation of the developed concepts in front of a selection of major international key players, during an industry event organized by TorinoFilmLab in conjunction with one of the main European TV series markets. You can find more information on the dedicated news.

#DEVELOPMENT - LIM Call for Development Angels 

LIM* proposes an annual programme for “Development angels”, film professionals — creative producers, story-editors, development executives, commissioning editors… — wanting to strengthen their ability to follow the development of feature film projects. We are inviting you to a Zoom Presentation of this programme by Antoine Le Bos (Artistic Director) and Massimiliano Nardulli (Head of Talent) on Tuesday 15 December 6 pm (UTC/GMT +1). #DOCS: Sunny Side of the Docs - Global Pitch

Sunny Side of the Doc is launching Global Pitch, a new initiative that will take place on 2nd to 3rd February 2021. Twelve investigative and current affairs projects will be selected to take part in two days of online pitching sessions. The Global Pitch comes at a time when our planet, our daily lives and our industry are being turned upside down. Society is faced with increasingly complex issues and challenges, and the documentary genre has now more than ever a decisive role to play when it comes to understanding the world around us, inspiring change and shining a light on action for the future.

#FEATURE FILM: FIRST CUT LAB Belgium

First Cut Lab Belgium is a consultancy program designed for feature films in editing phase from Belgium – at least one from Flanders & at least one from Wallonie-Bruxelles. The program is made in collaboration and with the final support of the Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds and the Centre du cinema of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. The selected teams (director/producer/editor) are offered a creative framework, both benevolent & challenging, where to open up new perspectives and to explore the whole artistic potential of their films. They screen their rough cut in a private session, and receive expert feedbacks from three international film industry advisors, as well as tailor-made advice from a consultant editor.

The program will take place online, and each film will be workshopped within the period from 15. January 2021 to 30. June 2021. Each film is accompanied by First Cut Lab for a period of roughly 6 weeks, even though the core of the Lab takes place over two consecutive days.

#SHORT: MOBILE FILM FESTIVAL - Women's Empowerment

For its 16th international edition, the MOBILE FIM FESTIVAL decided to raise awareness about Women's Empowerment. Issues of gender equality will hence be addressed on a positive, constructive et engaged manner. Directors are invited to create films based on a simple (and original) principle: 1 Mobile, 1 Minute, 1 Film. Many prices will be awarded by an international Jury.

#FEATURE-FILM: Less is More in Brittany

6 filmmakers selected each year from all over the world wanting to develop a feature film project (fiction) within a limited budget frame: LIM is welcoming writers / directors with a first, second or third feature project, as well as artists coming from theatre, documentary and visual arts, who apply with a project at an early stage of development.
LIM programme includes three one-week workshopsbetween March and October 2021 – two residential workshops and one online – as well as a tailor-made Showcase Event to benefit from the inputs of industry professionals coming from all over Europe.
In 2021, like in 2020, we will create the best combination possible to help the filmmakers give birth to their projects, within collective dynamics and inputs from our tutors / consultants, despite Covid constraints
